Born in Vancouver, Canada and now based in Los Angeles, Ilanna is an internationally awarded commercial director, filmmaker and photographer.

Her creative journey originated in the action sports industry, capturing athletes in the mountains with her camera in tow while completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia.

Through her work, she unifies dynamic movement with uplifting storytelling, leading her to collaborate with clients such as Red Bull, Roxy, the LA Clippers, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Harvard Business Review.

She is passionate about being involved in the creative community, as a member of the board of directors for the west coast chapter of The One Club For Creativity, as well as judging for the ADC Awards and One Awards. Her films have screened in competition at Oscar-qualifying festivals around the country, including San Francisco International Film Festival (SFFilm) and AmDocs. She was recognized with the silver award for New Director of the Year from Shots in spring 2024.
